Forming Linguistic Students’ Research Competence on the Basis of a Practice-Oriented Approach

The paper aims to reveal essence of the notion “linguistic research competence”. article considers characteristics competence, examines process competence formation among linguistic students on basis a practice-oriented approach. Scientific originality study lies in fact that relying survey conducted foreign studying English as language international communication and Russian authors identify specific features aspects taking into account its components: motivational, informational, cognitive (communicative), activity-based, reflexive, creative, personal. As result, it is shown focus group method allows representing provides deeper understanding formation.
